Check out the Huge line at this EV charging station in California…
“Get an EV,” they said. “It’ll be fun,” they said.
This is at an EV charging station in California.
VIDEO AT LINK.........................
I can’t wait!
higher electric prices is inevitable- - once they have everyone changed over- they control when folks can charge, and how much they charge for electricity- kinda like digital currency- once we switch over- we are at the mercy of whoever controls it-
They are claiming electric is ‘cleaner and better for environment’ but won’t admit that it takes ‘dirty fossil fuels’ to create the electricity needed- but once they have everyone on electric- I’m predicting that their message will morph to one where they finally admit the obvious and then will say “We must increase price of electricity to reduce consumption/use as it takes fossil fuels to create enough, and as we know, FF are bad for the environment- so we must all do our part, we must all suffer a little, and ‘pay a little more’ to save the earth- “
Folks will have little choice- they ill have to play along- or do without
Hah! Remember dial-up? I’d still be waiting for that picture to load.
“Read my last post carefully- I’ll wait-”
I read it. You can stop waiting.
EV’s should be taxed similar to gas cars.
The problems are that the taxes go into the general fund.
And Most of the damage is done by heavy trucks, not cars.
I’d love to drive by that line in my Mustang, push the clutch, rev the Coyote and let them hear what 435 Hp sounds like. Then - lay rubber and take off.
For years I use to drive that every couple days in the LA area..Sometimes every day...Do you think an electric vehicle would work for that?
“Hah! Remember dial-up? I’d still be waiting for that picture to load.”
It is actually a very small file. Through html you can make it display different sizes but the original file size is not changed.
Once....................
No not like gas stations. At gas stations the wife does not have to sit in her car for hours. It’s 5 minutes for her to fill up and be gone.
So if the wife sits there for a couple hours, would that not indicate she is many times more susceptible to crime?
I live in an apartment, no way to recharge.🙄
“I’d love to drive by that line in my Mustang, push the clutch, rev the Coyote and let them hear what 435 Hp sounds like. Then - lay rubber and take off.”
Don’t try that with a Tesla next to you.
0-60 1.9 seconds!
“It’s 5 minutes for her to fill up and be gone.”
Carjackings only take 30 seconds.
Just what we need, more nasty toxic fires from electric vehicle crashes.
Carjackings only take 30 seconds.
I see you totally evaded the question...
Now answer the question and stop ducking, dodging and dancing around it.
You’d be in California..
That’s the last state someone should own an EV..
But it’s also the last state someone should own an ICE vehicle.
So, it’s perfectly logical to see people lined up to get a charge.. or to get anything.
Lots of time wasted in line..
Yes, here in Canada the power companies are owned by the state. So you go from the free enterprise gas stations, to one power provider run by the government.
I have a few other concerns like is it gonna spontaneously combust in my garage in the middle of the night?
The cost of the inevitable replacement battery.
And then there’s charging times:
“Charging times Tesla model S
Supercharger 30 minutes
Tesla wall connector 9 hours
240 volt home 18 hours
Standard wall outlet 2-3 days”
“I’d love to drive by that line in my Mustang, push the clutch, rev the Coyote and let them hear what 435 Hp sounds like. Then - lay rubber and take off”
That’s the sound of freedom
I just love my electric sport exhaust 😆
