With social media's tech tyrants censoring everything using GAB is truly the best platform to have freedom of speech.

Learn how to use Gab's filters in your settings and you control what you see and don't see. The left likes to pose as NAZIs and racists to make GAB look bad (and I'm sure there is a few real ones there too). Just put those words you don't want to see in your filter and you won't have to see those posts/comments.
There is also a Free Republic group on MeWe.
Been there for awhile.
Whatever it is MeWe allows, my point is it’s not getting onto your feed unless you actively go get it, and check the boxes to allow it.
I’m not touting presence or lack of any specific content, only that the controls exist to manage it quite well.
So, yeah, there’s lotsa junk on MeWe, but be wary of user profiles with blurred out avatars and you’ll do fine.
Will the FR on Gab be loaded with Pro-Ukraine manure on every other post?
GAB has that feature too. It has various feeds you can create. One of them “Only people I follow”.
Are there Nazis there ? Or trolling Leftists posing as Nazis?

If you’re pro russia you’ll find other areas of GAB for you as well.

I’ve heard that, but not seen any direct evidence in the couple years I’ve been on. I’ve seen enough sketchy content posted and left alone that I can say that, if they’re censoring anything, it’s a VERY narrow filter being used. I see thing all the time that wouldn’t last three seconds on FB or Twitter.
I left Gab in February because of all of the anti-Semitic, racist, and pro-communist posts being allowed to run rampant by the CEO of Gab, Andrew Torba.
And I left Gab because I personally read an anti-Semitic rant by Torba in a series of tweets in October 2021, where he’s blaming Jews for everything from starting the Russian Revolution (or his preferred word “Bolshevism”) to claiming “Zionists” created the Federal Reserve.
Torba also retweeted his admiration of renown Communist and anti-Semitic figures that he would share and retweeted from Gab’s Twitter account.
I also saw anti-Semitic “cartoons” he would share on Twitter, blaming Jews for the death of Christ. For the record, Jesus said, “No man takes my life from Me. I have authority to lay it down and the authority to take it back. “ (John 10:18) Which is why in Isaiah 53 it says that the Messiah was “smitten by God” and it “pleased the Lord to bruise Him.”
One cartoon I saw Torba tweet out, showed a Rabbi with a Star of David over his head, looking at a boy with a halo over his head with a cross above the halo. The Rabbi is saying, “I hate you with every fiber of my being” to which the angelic boy says, “I know, I read the Talmud.”
He shares another “cartoon” of a close up of a large nail with the word “Judeo” above it on the left side and on the right side, it shows Jesus’s hand being crucified to the cross with the word above it “Christian.” (The whole world was represented at the cross of Christ, because the nails came from the Gentiles.)
He claims to a Christian, but he’s an anti-Semite, anti-MAGA, anti-Trump charlatan. I will never go back to Andrew Torba’s Gab
I haven't done an in-depth investigation or peered into their souls, but they seem like ordinary Nazi Nazis.
Not at all Pro-Russia - just worn out by the Paid Pro-Ukrainian trolls who have taken over Free Republic.
What part of free speech do you not understand? What you advocate for is facebook and twitter systems. Which are terrible.
You do know gab has filters you can use to turn off those posts and never see them, right?
The point is if they want to stay in business they have to censor because they have their infrastructure in the cloud and really on other tech tyrant networking.
Gab built out their entire server farm from start to finish to get around them being able to block them for not censoring.
In fact, Germany sent them an order saying they need to block all german IP addresses or censor content. They told Germany go pound sand because if they want to block their users from gab than that is their job not his. But he can’t travel to many places outside the US as they have a warrant out on him.
He’s a hero.
Are you on facebook, twitter, mewe, or youtube? If so their CEOs are a lot worse...and they won’t let you share your opinion if you disagree with them.
