Oh, she “considered” all right. That’s a parent’s way of giving a parting shot to the kids, ungrateful or not. Our son knows that we’ll work our place until we petrify then the machines, vehicles, collectibles, books and all the rest are his to handle. My folks both did it to me so I guess it runs in the fambly?
I don’t know - I think because she was born at the beginning of the depression she felt she had to save everything. If it “might” have some future use she saved it. We’re trying to get ready to sell our place and downsize and that means if my children want something they need to speak up. :-)
