At some point it’s going to have to be removed from the coffin. It’s next job is Chuck’s coronation.

i think charles uses a different crown. it’s red
The crown will be removed at Windsor.
The King will most likely be crowned with Saint Edward’s Crown, not the Imperial State Crown which is being seen at the funeral. This particular Imperial State Crown may or may not be used at the Coronation as a secondary crown - unlike Saint Edward’s Crown, the Imperial State Crown is periodically remade.
