ok....it’s tough to keep track of it all :)
If you’re talking about the purple cap - that is just fabric, and yes, that doesn’t always rise to the arches and monde (the metal bit above). It’s actually considered a little artistic for it to be crumbled.
I hope in 20 years Prince George and Princess Charlotte don’t whinge on and on about how they were made to walk behind the coffin like Prince Harry continues to do about Diana’s coffin
QE2 was such a tiny pint, it has perplexed me that the pallbearers appear so physically strained carrying her coffin. Turns out the casket is lined with lead. Now it makes sense that the eight young men are struggling under the lead weight.
have they released numbers yet to how many were estimated to have stood in line to view the Queen? Amazing to me that they only had one nut job in all of it that tried to rush the coffin
estimated over 500 pounds. Saw where one of them in the past didn’t want to be embalmed and they had to put charcoal in the coffin to help with the stink. She didn’t do the laying in state part of it
All I have heard is that it’s in the hundreds of thousands, but I’m not sure how official that is.
That's because the bones of the lizard people are radioactive.
Accounts of Sock Puppet’s loose pucker string are unsurprising. As his dementia progresses, voluntary and involuntary bodily functions deteriorate. Mr. Poopy Pants continues to decline.
in the beginning it was single file with people holding back while mourner went to bow their head at the front of the coffin. That soon gave way to a much more hurried process and double lines..and then to an even more of hurry along in droves routine.
It was interesting to watch...especially the people in wheelchairs who struggled to stand up. One guy in a british flag suit who was really struggling had the monitor person hold people back so mourner wouldnt get knocked over
It’s interesting to see the Mounties there.
Bump
The position of Bagpiper to the Sovereign was recently held by Pipe Major Scott Methven, according to the Express(opens in new tab), who left in 2019 after four years in Her Majesty’s musical service. And not only did he play for her, but the Queen and the royal family even showed up for him in a moment of crisis. When Methven’s wife was diagnosed with Stage 4 terminal cancer, he told the BBC(opens in new tab), the Queen “looked after” his children, who stayed at Balmoral while Methven attended to his wife. And later, shortly before his wife passed away, the Queen gave the entire family permission to stay at Windsor Castle all together. “And that’s memories,” Methven said. Check out the full video of his interview with BBC here(opens in new tab).

Thanks, I was wondering about that.
Every once in a while, I’m hearing the ‘bong’ of a bell. Perhance, is that Big Ben?
What comes out of his mouth is an embarrassment too.
They have done a good job for all of it considering the minefields they had to navigate with the issues surrounding Prince harry and Prince Andrew. Prince Harry was so put out over the ER being taken off his uniform but not Andrew that he even considered not wearing the uniform for the vigil.
Media still going on about how Prince Harry was invited then disinvited to that reception. I suspect he was never really invited.
I believe the gold Sceptre on the coffin is the one that symbolizes parliament?? It is usually laid in parliament when it sits
The guess is that the Queen herself wanted them in that position leading the procession. The RCMP gifted the Queen her favourite horse Burisma which she used for many years in trooping of the colour ceremonies and no doubt rode on many other occasions.
I keep seeing Andrew marching ahead of King Charles. Probably not intentional but I do wonder about it.
