For American followers, I will be co-anchoring @FoxNews coverage of tomorrow’s funeral from 4am ET on what will be a long and historic day.

Yes, basically - but it does depend on how formal the situation is. Nobody should walk in front of the King (well - other Heads of State can) under normal circumstances.
Indians do that in my neighborhood. When they are out walking the wife always stays behind. Not sure which version they are ..I am not good at telling various nationals apart.
The Queen did not have to walk behind her husband when he was Prince of Wales, and she isn’t yet used to doing so.
One of the most basic principles in all of this protocol is “If no offence is intended, none should be taken”. Nobody expects her - or anybody else - to have instantly got used to all of this.
In time, I expect she will fall into the habit.
Does this only apply to the King? Does Kate have to walk a step behind William in a formal setting?
I’m so shallow, but I think it’s kind of neat to see Kate wearing so many of queen and Diana’s jewelry pieces..
So has the Queen’s dresser just disappeared? I haven’t seen her. I know she was given access to a house for the rest of her life unless King takes it away
No - when the Princess of Wales is with her husband, she ranks with him and so does not have to walk behind him.
She looks fantastic. She told a story about how Louis is wondering if they can still play games when they go to Balmoral...but they may not be able to go as King Charles is thinking of giving it away and turning it into a museum
Or he needs to use the restroom.
Angela Kelly was at the funeral. I suspect she is probably now on her way to Windsor but that’s just a guess. I would be extremely surprised if she isn’t on the guest list for the service at Windsor Castle.
I read this story which I may not remember correctly but something about the Queen ate nothing but eggs for a week so she wouldnt have to go to the bathroom during her coronation
Unwatchable with three babbling idiots that never shut up
this is really a pretty long march for someone as old as the King.
I remember a picture and video of President Trump walking ahead of the Queen. I don’t believe he did it out of disrespect.
I also recall how the libtards were absolutely aghast that he had done so. They were practically calling for him to be shot.
(Then again, the libtards are always calling for him to be shot.)
Not for a week, but, yes, the Queen ate boiled eggs and bread and marmite on the day of the coronation and nothing else before the ceremonies, because of their ‘binding’ qualities. She’d heard that the choir boys were being fed on this diet and thought it sounded like a good idea.
sky news has it with minimal talking . you can view on youtube
Isn’t there an Earl or someone who’s pretty elderly? Not sure if he’s walking.
I think it would’ve been great if Trumps had been invited secretly. When they showed up heads ... 🤯
I have been watching the BBC, simulcast on PBS. They have been very respectful and have said very little during most of this procession.
People were aghast over something Michelle Obama did..dont remember what...but I think the Queen takes it in stride and it not offended. She seems to have gotten along well with Obamas.
Although striding in front of The Queen in front of the military might be more of a breach than whatever Michelle did
