N1P; Figs might be a good fit into your planed permaculture garden. Some varieties you can pass off as landscaping. You also have a long ripening season.

You are correct. Figs are a good choice for my food forest. I have two trees. They’re babies and did not like the hot sand this summer, but still alive. I suspect a growth spurt in the fall. I will check out the links. Thank you.
