Seahawks safety Jamal Adams‘ season is over after one game. Adams will have season-ending surgery to repair his torn quad tendon, according to Ian Rapoport of NFL Network. During Monday night’s game over the Broncos, Adams went down awkwardly while pressuring Russell Wilson, then limped to the sideline and was carted to the locker room. It was apparent immediately that he had suffered a significant injury. It’s the latest setback for Adams, who arrived in Seattle in a massive trade that included two first-round draft picks, and who signed a big contract extension with the Seahawks.

Adams’ first two seasons in Seattle were disappointing, and now his third season with the Seahawks is over just as it was getting started.

This tells us there's a problem with the game. He made too much guaranteed money. Now they'll have to pay him to not work. What's morbid is the Seahawks opponents are glad he's injured.

Some of you will post that you don't care about the NFL anymore. Doesn't matter. The rest of the country is too intense when it comes to their teams.

“He made too much guaranteed money. Now they’ll have to pay him to not work. “

I believe that’s for the owners and agents to work out. I watched football this past Sunday. Happy the Giants won. Sucks to be a Cowboys fan which I was for many years.

Add the injury to Dak Prescott in Dallas. The whole state is in a panic. I could care less. Cowboy haters are morbidly gleeful(there’s that word again).

People in Cleveland are happy to see that T.J. Watt is out for awhile after signing a $100+million contract. Their replacements will earn the minimum wage while the product goes to hell.

The QB for Baltimore turned down $130 million guaranteed because the one in Az. got 230. Billionaire owners have egos & can be stupid but the game of football is their toy.Who gets injured in week 2? Stay tuned.

*It’s insane that teams make these huge trades for players that need a new contract one year later and they then have to give the player whatever they want in order to justify the trade.
Seems like a terrible way to do business.* Bingo.

*Gotta watch huge contracts with too much guaranteed time on them. Not smart to hog tie yourself.* It’s a drug the owners are addicted to.

Could have been worse. Notre Dame paid Marshal 1.5 million to play them last week, and lost

One of my brothers friends played for Marshal the year of the plane crash. He happen to be on 3 string and did not make the trip that day.

*It is the latest injury hammer blow for Adams since he arrived in Seattle. The soon-to-be 27-year-old will now enter 2023 having appeared in just 25 of a possible 50 games in a Seahawks uniform.* Comes w/the territory.

Fans must feel shortchanged. The big money given to a few players means the 2nd stringers are the cheapest as no quality veterans wish to play for what’s left. The owners can get away with ‘hope springs eternal’ attitude in the beginning until the injuries pile up.

Would OSHA be obligated to shut down the operation if they went to a game?

Helmets are hard on the hand. I guess the fact is that people like the gladiator look. And those helmet pads they were wearing in training camp just ain’t cool looking.

My dad told me, when I was trying to be a high school fb player, that a football player needs to have grudge against his own body to play the game intensely.

The more woke a sport is, the greater the income inequality. Funny how that works.

How much less could you care, a little or a lot?

Maybe he’d like a temporary job play-calling for the Broncos. Couldn’t be any worse than Hackett...
