Quarterback for the Green Bay Packers Aaron Rodger has said closures due to COVID throughout 2020 and 2021 destroyed thousands of small businesses in towns across California.
Speaking to Bill Maher on his Club Random podcast, out Sunday, Rodgers called out the state's tough COVID-19 rules saying: 'State's going to s*** but I'm hanging on.'
Stay-at-home orders forced the closure of bars and restaurants and thousands of other businesses from hair salons to spas.
'I grew up in a small town, very little cases up in Chico, California, but all the small businesses? F***ing gone,' Rodgers lamented.
Business capacity limits and other restrictions were in place from March 2020 until June 2021.
The decisions crippled businesses across California with 40,000 estimated to have collapsed - the highest figure in any state across the nation.
odgers also spoke of his disapproval of AB 2098, a new bill heading to the desk of Governor Newsom that could see doctors disciplined for promoting COVID-19 misinformation.
The law is controversial because the definitions of 'misinformation' and 'disinformation' are so broad.

As a long time Dallas Cowboys fan, I’m staring to see Rogers in a new light.
hey Aaron- you aint seen nuttin yet- just wait till none can drive anywhere- and businesses suffer massive losses from lack of customers-
Collapsing business was arguably part of the plan.
If you own something you can’t own nothing and love it.
Democrats are making third world status cool again.

All according to plan!! Mandate closure of the small businesses (i.e., the Kulaks) to drive many out of business but KEEP THE LARGE BUSINESSES (Amazon, Walmart, Costco, etc.) OPEN.
Saw a couple, both donning masks. Just over Covid and being careful. I told them the should have gotten shots, which they affirmed they had 4 each. I told them to call the doctor for more shots. They asked if we had them. Hell no. Their faces were priceless.
It's a long overdue distrust of bureaucrat lackeys.
People need to remind every one of these government pukes that the government employee works for them, not other way around. The arrogance of these school board members are just one window into the sick, entitled mindset of government employees.
Licensing and permits for every little aspect of business needs to go. Every restriction put on a business where the government doesn't comply needs to go. I recall employees in municipal governments fining businesses for not being in compliance with ADA standards while the government buildings weren't in compliance.
The government-mommy mindset fueled by FDR needs to be dispensed with. Then can the defunding of tyranny begin.
What about the children who are behind in development?
All NFL games in California should be day games. Those $20 beers may get a bit warm when the power gets cut off. Lighting a stadium could be risky.
LOL!
I always assumed Aaron Rodger was woke himself. I guess I got it wrong.

The latest Marxist lunacy coming out of Sacramento is forcing Fast Food Restaurants to pay a MINIMUM $22 per hour to their Burger flippers.
You haven’t seen nothing yet Aaron.
My wife’s a Packer’s fan. We needed a special dispensation from our Bishop to get married.
Speaking out does little. Run for office Aaron.
Companies are dropping vaccine mandates
Here's a hint: The really interesting thing...the companies that were government contractors that should have enforced Deep State's vaxx mandate and didn't.
The pinheads of Public Health destroyed the Country
Hahaha.
