Yes, that is stupid. You should be able to go home in a taxi. It is going to be a real problem with this country. Many people live alone, children don't live near them. Elderly friends cannot drive. Your neighbor has to work and cannot help you. Its something that needs to be addressed. It would be nice if some entrepreneur started a uber like company that picked people up at home, and stayed with them for a few hours.

I just moved cross country and don’t know a soul, so I don’t have any “trusted person” so do I just forego ever having another colonoscopy? Die from colon cancer instead of getting a cab ride home?
