They (our horrible medical industry) try to make delivery a medical emergency. It is not. It is the most natural thing in the world. You deliver in a hospital to be close to the neonatal unit and an OB doc in case anything tears, your bp goes up or the baby gets stuck

When health insurance became a govt enforced retainer for health services, the quality of the health industry suffered tremendously, and likewise the costs went through the roof. 48 hours is a long time after childbirth if she felt good enough to go home. There’s no mention of the child being symptomatic. If that were the case then she’d have been silly but this is an intelligent woman. I’d bet she wouldn’t bring a hot weak baby home I’m sure she spoke w the pediatrician
How do you know that she went into premature labor and wasn’t able to ‘choose’ where she gave birth?
