I was just thinking about. So here's a hypothetical question:
You're out deer hunting in a remote area with night time coming on so you're walking back to your vehicle down a dirt road.
Suddenly an alien spacecraft comes down and lands in front of you and an alien steps out of it.
You know darn well nobody is ever going to believe your story so what do you do? Do you shoot it as you stated to prove they exist and if you do, would the authorities charge you with a crime such as murder?
“Suddenly an alien spacecraft comes down and lands in front of you and an alien steps out of it.”
I have read a lot on this topic and if this happens to anyone I have some advice to give:
Run away if you can. Don’t look back. Just get out of there.
The reason is that they can (and almost certainly will) mess up your mind.
The phenomenon is a trickster.
How might that work?
They telepathically give you a (minor) prediction of something that will happen to you in a couple of days.
A couple of days later their prediction turns out to be true.
Then they show up a second time—and the same thing happens.
At this point you are all excited. You have special knowledge given to you by an alien. You hope they will show up a third time.
They do show up, but this time they give you “the news”.
It is a prediction like “Dubuque will be destroyed next year. You need to warn them.”
You stop your life, run off to Dubuque, talk to anyone or everyone who will listen to you. You become known as the “kook from Dubuque”.
Your wife divorces you, your kids stop talking to you, your boss fires you during that year...
and Dubuque is still there a year later.
This stuff is nasty.
We have been at war with them for a long time. What else is new? If you think otherwise, you likely do not know the history:
Battle of Los Angeles, 1942:
