That’s like saying we won a race against a bunch of paraplegics. We could do a whole lot better than we are. You’re only great when you pursue something a whole lot closer to excellence. Good enough isn’t something to be proud of.
Are we doing well because we can find some other country doing worse than these examples? It took minutes of scanning the headlines on this forum to find these examples. Are these examples of a a ntion and a system and “leaders” doing well?

These kinds of things are what our “leadership” has brought us. I just don’t care what is happening somewhere else. We have plenty of problems to attend to here.
There isn’t a lot here to be proud of.
There are 330 million people here in USA. We have certain no go areas here in USA. Don't live in Memphis or Baltimore. We still have the States. Our Supreme Court serves as a check on the other branches of government every now and then. And of course we have the second amendment. No other country in the world is like America.
If it's rough where you live in, my advice to you is to move out and relocate to a friendly town in a red state.
