And only driven on level ground... They just need to add a section in the Owner’s Manual for when the battery dies on how to leave it on the side of the road or off the road and not abandon it in a lane.

300 miles if you buy the top of the line model. I bet you won't be able to get that for 30k.

I foresee people fed up with their electric vehicle torching them for the insurance money instead of taking a loss on them.

“Chevy says the Equinox EV will come standard with an 11.5-kilowatt AC charger (for Level 2 plugs) that can add up to 34 miles of range per hour.”

I’d try to say something funny but I don’t think I can beat this.

In the mean time, I'm working on the final touches to my 67 Camaro. It will look like the following pic. 400Hp with a 4 speed automatic. Which would you guys rather have? Since my Camaro is paid for, $30,000 I save on an EV will buy me gas to go 120,000 miles.

Well isn’t that a wonderment! For what it would cost to replace the battery in your Chevy Volt, you can buy a whole brand-new Equinox.

Not a bad looking vehicle. For city dwellers with money I can see this selling pretty well. For the rest of us, not so much.

True, Looks sell. But like the new simple phones coming on the market maybe someone will start making a decent car without all the bells and whistles. With the chip shortage looming this may happen.

Hmmm... Let’s see... Do they come with any instructions on how to charge during a Kalifornia blackout?

If you have the 4cyl, watch this vid for a simple prevention to a big potential problem

That is a lot of hassle for a PCV issue. On my old Dodge Darts, I could replace the PCV in 30 seconds, and the hose never got corrupted. On my even older Darts (and a '65 Chrysler 300) there was a breather and no PCV at all!

Not that I would consider, “ever,” buying one but how long do the batteries on these vehicle last? “Cause I got a 27-year-old, high mileage, American-manufactured pick-up truck; having had no major, mechanical issues of consequence throughout those years and it’s still running!

"300 mile range of the wind is right and moderate temperatures, but how far will it go at below freezing temperatures, when you will need the heater, defroster, wipers and lights? "

How long you have to pre-warm the interior until you can feel the steering wheel and wait for the ice to melt off the windows should factor into that. I'm trying to imagine a Northern college with chargers in the dorm parking lot. What's the life expectancy of a chargers in the presence of snow plows? I suppose by then students won't be able to afford or allowed cars.

A 17.7-inch central touchscreen is optional.

Gonna need the bigger battery for all that.
