There was no Greek royal family of historic standing, since Greece was ruled by the Ottomans. So some of the inbred breeding stock of Northern Europe was imported to start it off.

Usually version 3 is the first that works at all well. But I’d wait for the dot release.
I don’t care for him myself. That is irrelevant to my point laid out above, that monarchy is entirely at home in human nature — certainly more than democracy. Like it or not, monarchy or something quite close to it is the model of the primeval family.

I don’t know that he’s chosen what he finally will be called. The news is saying ‘King Charles’ but some commentators seem to be indicating that this could change.
I sort of doubt it. We’re living in a different world than when monarchs were more separated from the public. The whole world knows him as Charles.
The Monarch stands for the country. It will continue to be a patriotic song.
