Good New Year’s Day morning! Did you have a good night?
Mine was worse than most, but it was for a good cause.
I thought I would sleep until at least 0700, but the pain woke me up, so here I am. Unngh. It’s the pain that almost always wakes me up.
So this one will be staying home today. There just isn’t enough time for the water heater to do its job and me be ready by 0830. Pam sent me a text yesterday asking if I needed a ride this morning, so I told her I’d let her know by 0800.
What a way to start a new year. 🙁

It’s 64° out and in this neck of the woods, at this time of year, that means tornadoes are possible. Lots of warnings on the weather website, and they all have to do with this evening and later on tonight.
There seems to be more tornado warnings and events in the 15 months I’ve been here than there has since I’ve been monitoring the weather here. At least six years. I don’t like it.
