Why would anyone take that hardline a stance on abortion in MI. Just really dumb in a purple state! Our candidates can be really tone deaf sometimes. And Dixon needs to be hammering Whitmer on her nursing home policies during COVID!

BTW, I saw a study that said the main supporters of abortion are men, but since it’s so easy to stir up women, alas, they are the main voices of the pro-abortion movement. They do it to please their men, even if they don’t think they are.
Why else were men getting vasectomies when the “right to abortion” was “threatened?” They don’t want to marry women and they don’t want to support children.
And liberal non-Christian or non-Orthodox Jewish secularized women, fools as always, think they’re making a blow for “women’s rights”...?

The state by state fight doesn’t favor us though. It was an unforced error. You make a good point, but hopefully our side can convince people that abortion is not the most important priority.
That's why Roe vs Wade decision may hurt us even if it's the right thing to do, at least in the short term. A lot of women are going to be motivated to vote blue on the abortion issue alone. We won't win the Senate. Joe Biden has a good chance of winning reelection. Clarence Thomas is 74 years old. They replace Clarence Thomas, they will just reenact Roe vs Wade again in a couple of years.

It wasn’t “enacted,” it was a Supreme Court judicial decision and thus requires a case based on earlier cases. It wasn’t a law, in other words.
The people who seem to be most upset about it are RINOs, from what I’ve seen.

The “Liberals” on the SCOTUS appear to rule by fiat. So they say what the law is. They just need one more justice. Once that happens, we might as well as get rid of the legislative and executive branches of government.
Depressing that by the time they would even think about a new national Roe type law they will have had many states codifying flat out free abortion rights state by state. Worse than the day before the SCOTUS end of Roe in 2022.
