Like I said I don’t know it was a terror strike until I got to my meeting. I assumed it was an airliner crash because I expected one there due to what I saw twice a week at Gravely Point. With those very very low flights I figured eventually someone was going to make a mistake. Think of the 14th Street bridge!
I have never been in DC so I will trust your opinion regarding the 14th street bridge!
I knew someone...a friend....in my company that was going to a meeting in one of the WTC buildings when the plans hit. He survived and they did not. Transportation more or less closed down in Manhattan and he had to walk from from Manhattan over to Brooklyn.
I used to put my boat in there. right at the end of the runway. Howard sterns firing from dc101 was because of a poor joke he made about that crash at the 14th bridge
