Don't get it, explain how King Charles = 11 and 3?

K = 11th letter
C = 3rd letter

K is the 11th letter of the alphabet and C is the 3rd.
Likewise Q is the 17th letter, thus the affinity for being the 17th Q Thread poster when a new thread begins.
