As a USAFA grad, we’ve become just as bad, if not worse. There is a strong argument to shut all service academies down. If they are going to indoctrinate these kids with the same crap that civilian universities do, then shut it all down and commission through ROTC.

I was talking last night to a USAFA cadet. He said he made a comment supporting Trump and denouncing Biden’s Red speech, and the entire class was against him for saying those things. That’s 30 to 1. Even the professor was a lefty.
Last week there was a similar article lamenting the decline of the Air Force academy. Sad.
The new motto of our academies, “Standards? We don’t need no stinkin’ standards.”

Military family here - we are imploring the next generation NOT to join. Nephew and great-Nephew just passed signing up after taking the ASVAB. Great-nephew said he had to change his phone number b/c the recruiters kept calling and calling and calling...
I can remember these “ebony and ivory” classes starting in the Army back in the early 70s. I was totally disgusted with that crap way back in those days. Two NCO bozo instructors. A black guy and a white guy whose granny was a “cherokee princess” named Morning Star. The had these profound lessons like showing you a three legged table and taught such stupidity like when asked what was wrong with the table, the “white kids” would say it had only three legs. The “black kids” would say there was no food on it. They had food stamps back in those days but I guess parents were using them to buy drugs and it was our fault there was no food on the three legged tables.
This has been going on for a long time. Some of you may remember the office “Social Actions”-that’s what the AF called it. It then morphed into a monster of it’s own doing. Now, the DOD has an institute for this crap. It’s called DEOMI (Defense Equal Opportunity Management Institute). That’s right, a whole institute where all branches send folks to get more woke. It’s been around for years. The institute is currently at Patrick AFB, FL. We used to get a live feed on the CCTV on base at Patrick. One day we tuned in to see what goes on inside the hallowed walls of wokeness. To this day, I will never forget the inability for the speakers to put two sentences together without a “um” or “Ya know” or “like”. In the years (20) that I spent there, I recall only seeing a handful of white attendees. I can’t imagine what attends now.

Was amazing to read the stories of those in the class who died in WW2. One of the midshipman would be captured after the battle of Sunday Straits. He died of wounds while a POW. His 1939 class ring was found on a Japanese soldier on Guadalcanal. It was later returned to the USNA.
