For about 6% of the population there is no change no matter how glaring the evidence. To look at the evidence objectively is very frightening for them. To accept the evidence means a complete repudiation of everything they have believed and held dear in their psychological makeup. Acceptance of truth would be too frightening and overwhelming for them; therefore they use defense tactics of denial justification and they rationalize. This keeps them safe.

It’s actually 30%. Consistantly.

An interesting book about mass hypnosis is called “The psychology of Totalitarianism” by Mattias Desment. (You can also find him interviewed on YouTube.)

It is one of the most interesting books I have ever read. Clarifies the things we are observing.

I think it is more like 26%, because that is the number that consistently approve of what the DemocRats do and hate Republicans no matter what.
