Found a good article over on Real Clear Politics “A Trump/DeSantis Ticket is Legally Workable” by Todd Carney dated 9/2/22. This has been brought up on this thread a number of times so thought you all might want to take a gander at the article.
He points to Bush/Cheney in 2000 where they were both residents of Texas. Four days before Bush announced his choice for VP Cheney moved his residence to Wyoming. Protests of course but court ruled it was legal. And author and lawyer Carney is sure it would work in this instance also.
