If there's a strong movement to repeal the 22nd Amendment, that hypothetical wouldn't matter.
The 18th Amendment was repealed. The 22nd could conceivably be repealed too.
Would be in January after the new Congress was sworn in and then would take some time to process it, vote, etc. So likely in Feb which would mean he should be eligible for another 4.
