I never noticed they ever existed in Mexico and I lived down there for almost 10 years. But I’m a “privileged” white Mexican, so what do I know?
We call them “prietos”. And that mostly refers to dark skinned people in general.
I noticed the article focused on African Pagan rituals/santeria type religion and folk music and a potential future uprising. Good luck with that! They’ll be crushed and probably disappeared forever.
