I have said it 100 times before, and I will say it one more time. I took the jabs because they are a big nothing burger in causing adverse effects. Primary reason was not cruises, although I did thoroughly enjoyed 5 cruises between September 2021 and April 2022. My primary reason was to do everything humanly possible to protect my wife who is fighting stage-4 cancer for almost 5 years now. She has had so many chemo and radition treatments, her immune system is highly compromised. I figured the vaccine could give me slight edge over getting infected with covid. If I brought covid infection home, my wife would certainly catch my infection since I am her sole care giver. She would not survive covid. Her canver doctor insisted she take the covid vaccine shots. I took the shots as moral support to her and to possible improve my chances to avoid infection.
The result is what matters the most. Both of us avoided getting infected with covid, both of us enjoyed 5 cruises, and both of us had no adverse effects from the jabs.
@ 98. We may have had polite disagreement in the past on this issue - don’t remember and don’t care. I did not and will not take the inoculations.
The reason stated in your post for taking the jab is rationale in a risk benefit analysis. May the Lord continue to show favor to your bride and bring complete healing. cheers
