Fair point. Believe they are all ESSENTIALLY the same species though. My opinion they are all descendants of the basic dog in Noah’s ark, with changes brought on by removal of genetic information , not addition.
We can’t reproduce with apes.
People (human beings) can only reproduce with people.
I just checked.dogs and wolves are the same species. Coyotes, however, are not wolves. Coyotes and wolves are in the same family (Canidae) and genus(Canis), but are separate species, just as foxes and wolves are separate species.
