Our elites don’t give a rat’s a$$ about the Nuremberg Code, nor do they care about our Constitution or Bill of Rights for that matter. They are only interested in how they can circumvent these restrictions to their power and we can expect increasing repression going forward unless we fight back. Seeing as to how easily people could be manipulated with all this covid stuff, I’m not optimistic about us holding these authoritarian fascists off.
Things like the Nuremberg Code exist to punish The Losers after the war is over. But, in fact, you don't really need the Nuremberg to do that -- after every war, the Winners are in a position where they can punish the Losers if they wish. They may choose to have a piece of paper in their hand when they issue the punishment, but they do not need the piece of paper.
The Nuremberg Code is a sop. It makes people feel good. "We follow the Rule of Law, so we do not do bad things and we punish people who do bad things".
But the Bad Guys never really care about the Rule of Law. Look around today -- the Democrats definitely think that they are The Good Guys -- and they don't follow the Rule of Law at all. What does the Nuremberg Code mean to them? They just want people to follow orders. There is nothing new in that.
