I'm really curious as to why the CDC hasn't advocated contact tracing with monkeypox the same way they did with Covid. They told us how important contract tracing was to control the disease, and it has to be easier to do contact tracing for a disease spread by physical contact than one that spread airborne.
So why aren't they advocating contact tracing for monkeypox??

Because it’s infecting fags.🤔

So why aren't they advocating contact tracing for monkeypox?? If it is like Smallpox, it should be possible to ring vaccinate around known cases, people who had been exposed several days previously, and then people in the same households. It is not a fast growing virus. Vaccination along with behavior modification will make the infections die out. I'm more concerned about transmission to household pets and then wild animals with which they could come in contact. Prevention of endemic infection of wild animals should be a priority.
