I understand you. Two decades here also. Covid injections and two subsequent Covid infections, the second Long Covid, have altered the long standing tinnitus by adding “bucket head” where ears feel wet and sounds from hearing aids are now muffled.
I have gone down too many rabbit holes of research.
Prayers. People that do not suffer, literally, from tinnitus have no freaking idea.
Your original comment got me started because of your frank bluntness. But you are not wrong.
I want to be on the tinnitus ping list.
Pinggggggggggg is a trigger word. /s
Thank you
I got better results from keeping a fan on low on the other side of the room from my bed. White noise worked for me. Music was too distracting.
Thank you. I did try that. I find music works until is doesn’t. then I rely I white noise from the fans.
It was very, very nice when I figured out that ibuprophen was causing my tinnitus. I hope you figure out what is causing yours. Try everything!

Me too.
I’ve got that on order.
Man I can’t tell you what a life improvement that would make for me if it works.
Not getting my hopes up.
There are all kinds of tinnitus. Mine is likely related to busted cilia in the inner ear and loss of hearing in the lower frequencies on one side.
Yours is likely different
