For the 24 states with early IVM treatment (and Lima), excess deaths dropped 59% (25%) at +30 days and 75% (25%) at +45 days after day of peak deaths. Case fatalities likewise dropped sharply in all states but Lima, yet six indices of Google-tracked community mobility rose over the same period. For nine states having mass distributions of IVM in a short timeframe through a national program, Mega-Operación Tayta (MOT), excess deaths at +30 days dropped by a population-weighted mean of 74%, each drop beginning within 11 day after MOT start. Extraneous causes of mortality reductions were ruled out.
Get stuffed troll.
Ah, Pierre Korey’s substack. Remember when ivermectin did not prevent Dr. Korey from getting Covid?

Is he still raking in the bucks over at FLCC?
As for Uttar Pradesh, Korey’s claims are demolished here by Dr. Nick Mark of the Swedish Medical Center in Seattle:

Money quotes:
“While there are claims that the state began using ivermectin in May 2021, during the height of India’s COVID-19 crisis, the government actually said it began giving the drug in August 2020.”
“Not only did it not hasten the end of that alpha wave, but it didn’t prevent the delta wave.”
Dr. Mark also cited research where scientists looked at data for all deaths in India, and found that certain populous districts in Uttar Pradesh had no reported deaths at all for several months.
“So either you have to believe that ivermectin prevents you from dying of everything — car crashes, cancer, homicide, suicide — or, that the data is just garbage and you can’t interpret it.”
In fact, he totally demolishes all the ivermectin claims. And he generously provides all the slides and graphs he used here for download:

Now that said, if I were in charge of Uttar Pradesh health, I would have kept up the ivermectin distributiion. Why? Because intestinal roundworms are very common there, especially in children, and round worm infestations worsen Covid outcomes. So it is useful for Covid — but only if you have worms.
It’s a great video. I urge everyone to watch it from the beginning. I know it won’t change your mind, Greywhiskers — nothing will — but others may learn some good stuff.
