Before online dating existed, I couldn’t get anyone. Once online dating became a thing I found myself in higher demand. Really evened the playing field for those who didn’t have a good “in-person game” and were too socially awkward to be pickup artists.

The article says more men than women are single. I looked up the percentage of men & women in the country, and it’s 50% men and 50% women.
So how can more men than women be single?

The hubby and I met in Boston 24 years ago, and realized there was magic there when we were on the phone one evening and the subject of politics arose. I’m not sure what triggered it, but we both said, at the same time,
“You hate Hilary Clinton TOO???!!!”
I’d only dated soy boy liberals by that point, and had kept my political views very quiet — especially in Boston.
But when we realized we were both right leaning singles in a very blue city (and he was the only right-leaning member of his family) we knew it was meant to be.
Happily married, have a beautiful daughter, and have weathered some crazy storms.
And have become more Christ-centered over the years, as well.
And one of our dates involved harrassing Al Gore in downtown Boston.
