Men are lonelier than ever as they struggle to meet the higher dating standards of modern women, according to a psychologist.
American psychologist Greg Matos wrote in a recent Psychology Today article that the current state of young and middle-aged men's love lives shows they need to 'address a skills deficit'.
He said: 'I hear recurring dating themes from women between the ages of 25 and 45: They prefer men who are emotionally available, good communicators, and share similar values'.

Yes, I regard my job in the marriage as making sure she feels safe, secure, and well looked after.
In exchange, she makes sure she does her utmost to keep me happy and relieved of stress. For 40 years, she has done that.
Many modern women want what their man delivers, but do not see themselves as being under any duty towards delivering to their man.

And that, again, works both ways.
As I said before, there’s plenty of blame to go around on both sides and both sides would benefit from a great deal more maturity.
Entitlement mentality has no place in a marriage relationship. It’s selfish and immature and a recipe for disaster.
It was women that first broke how traditional Western relationships work. I remember reading how more average men were left behind to pick up the pieces and wait for a willing wife, when she was giving herself over to the most attractive men under the guise of freedom.
Men have simply adapted to the rules that women wanted.

Do you want to tell me what is so exciting for the average male about the sexual revolution, when he has to wait until he’s thirty before having a steady sexual partner because his prospective wife is spending her 20’s having sex with Mr. Top 20% with the big penis?
Maybe you can explain what is in for the average man in the sexual revolution, when he has to wait for a willing wife, and probably her children, and not marrying until he’s about thirty.
