Also, regarding my post upthread, Robert Barnes said the reason there was a two-day delay for the warrant was that magistrate judges rotate cases, in the steed of the higher judges who farm out work to magistrates to relieve themselves from heavier dockets.
Barnes believes the jd/fbi simply waited for the rotation cycle to begin, so that their judge of choice would be seated to receive their case & justify the warrant. He said this is often done, in search of friendlier judges.
This judge skipped to last recourse, being the RAID, in the absence of lesser methods of settlement to the FBI dispute. Barnes named the steps, eg., a Civil Suit filing, subpoena, etc.
