A friend of ours had her entire house cleaned out while she was at her father’s funeral. Ordinary burglars, though, not relatives or friends (probably). I’d never go to any event like a wedding or a funeral now without leaving someone on watch in our house.

I was mainly responding to the immediate assumptions on the thread that it was black folks, when the area is 90% other ethnicities.

Heck I have a friend in California and there was a slug fest between two family members at his mothers funeral -— shocked everybody! Funerals aren’t the place to sort out family differences but some people don’t get that regarless of the community they live in.
