If carnival goes belly up, other outfit will buy their assets dirt cheap and keep going. American motors went bankrupt but it did not stop car manufacturing. If product has demand in market, business never stops.
I don't think any of the big 3 will go belly up. (Ch7 bankruptcy)
But there is a chance they could stay in business by declaring CH 11 Bankruptcy to keep the creditors at bay while they reorganize. -Tom
