Phil also tore into McCartney a few years ago. And he was very upset with Led Zeppelin for not preparing for their Live Aid appearance.

And he was very upset with Led Zeppelin for not preparing for their Live Aid appearance. Me too. I was so looking forward to it. Then Robert Plant didn't even know the lyrics and they sounded like a garage band of teens trying to cover Zeppelin tunes for the high school talent show. And Jimmy Page had the nerve to blame it on Collins, of all things.

Phil gets upset easily. He was an extra on A Hard Day's Night, and that kind of sums him up. A guy who was always around the stars, but he himself wasn't really one. I give the man credit for being a worker, but in terms of original music, meh.
