I’ve noticed the brownstone articles are sometimes insanely stupid. Cost Trump the stolen election? I just checked their mission statement (they started in 2021) and their list of contributors which is huge, I barely recognize any of them. It might be interesting for others to take a look. One can learn a lot by looking at a website’s “About” and “members/contributors”.
We here on the thread know about all manners of fraud committed in the 2020 election and fraud and worse when it comes to the vaxseems, but I get the Brownstone article’s point.
Say for the sake of argument that our elections were above board with teams of citizens counting votes and watching out for fraud. Elections with a true vote can be close, with only 1% separating candidates. Information that should have been available to make sure the electorate was informed but wasn’t available could make a difference in which candidate gets 1% more than the other.
A lot of people were (and still are, unfortunately) counting on the vaxseems to save them. A few who didn’t vote Trump would have if it seemed in mid-October he would be delivering on the vax.
There are still people out there who voted for Trump who think he lost not through fraud, but just plain lost. There are Biden voters who now think maybe they made the wrong vote. Both groups have people inem who kind of, sort of believe in the vaxseems, but their faith in them is not what it once was.
Bringing up to them information about when the vaxseems were ready back in Fall 2020, but how this info was hidden, may be a small red pill these people will swallow. And people probably need to get their throats accumulated to really big red pills by working their throat muscles out with smaller ones first, so to speak.
