wondering what VP Pence was supposed to do?

He could have screamed about it to high heaven - (which would have done nothing) but he had no legal authority to take action on it.

If you are referring to his duties as President Of The Senate re: electoral vote count under the Constitution and the Electoral Vote Count Act - there is nothing in either that allowed him to take any action on those concerns.

If can find where he could legally act on any of those, please point me to it.

thanx

State rights might be a case study for me to start a repair of my opinion.

When those state Appeal Courts, followed by the US SC, denied standing to state voters, and to Candidate Trump in one or two
cases, Pious Pence was given no small amount of cover, I certainly concede.

American apathy played a role through the whole process, Until... 6 January, where the people there were a show of conviction of patriotic and state rights Americans assembling for Redress of grievances.

On that day, communist rule with its own stasi enforcement, all conceived by DS & Pelosi, was what was rubber stamped and codified by Pious Pence.

The Republic is determined only by good people only as long as they can keep it.

So far, the people did not keep it. The question is how or, If we “Come and take it” back.

I don’t even know
a senator or representative who wants to “scream to high heaven”, nevermind to activily bring to the US Senate rules & electoral table, the clearer and clearer fact of perpetration against the US, in an ACT OF WAR.

That alone is my only feeble argument to which the pious Pence should have answered, well before rubber stamping it.

How could he do it, in good conscience?

I stand by what I posted yesterday. Pence is The Cooler, and his actions on Jan 6 were part of the plan. He is taking one for the team by being painted as the bad guy.

We’ll find out sooner or later.

Anyone who believes the bulls*** Ryan Dark White spewed has a problem in perceiving truth about Pence.

“-—point me to it” Ok, here goes. There is no law, no rule, no procedure anyplace in our system of gov’t that requires an official AT ANY LEVEL to sign off or otherwise approve ANYTHING that is fraudulent, in error, or even questionable in it’s form, including election certification. It was well known, even before the 2020 election that numerous states had violated their own laws by changing voting rules/procedures. Pence had to be aware of every single one of the States that violated their own laws, and covid is/was not a legal excuse.

There is no requirement, none, that certification be done on a particular day, so long as it is done before inauguration, which is proscribed. As president of the senate Pence is in no way obligated to pass a certification that he suspects might be in error, fraudulent, or otherwise defective. It is totally within his authority, as senate president, to delay certification for a short period and even ask the questionable states to re-evaluate their counts, at a minimum. If Pence is unwilling to even raise the question of legality then he has the option of stepping aside. The simple fact that Pence didn’t even discuss basic things like illegal boxes, wrong ballot paper, large overcounts with no ballots, which were known at the time, makes his own integrity suspect.

The matter of the various courts not even being willing to revue numerous obvious illegalities, is a separate concern, and speaks to a level of corruption that must be cleaned up.

For my own part I was willing to give Pence some benefit of doubt, thinking he might be a part of a larger plan, but when he recently campaigned against a guvner candidate in AZ who is pledgeing to clean the state up, he lost me totally. He’s crooked, lazy, and not as smart as advertised. It shows in his wife whose manner changed dramatically after the election loss.
