Pious Pence simply lied.
He never supported the states lawful complaints or their appeals, concerning:
1) Direct evidence of scandalous state and certain county election processes.
2) Direct evidence of wrongful certification.
3) Need sufficient for a ten day delay to present mounting new evidence.
3) Entering for purposes of the record the prepared new slate of state electors.
Pious Pence entertained no interest in facilitating any variation from the rubber stamp, held in his hand, to codify a fraudulent presidential election.
Pious Pence then blamed not the successful fraudsters, but the Victimized candidate Trump, accusing him of “pressuring” him, in “an attempt to ‘overturn’ an election.”
Outrageous.
Pence is a weakling, for a pur$e and for power.
wondering what VP Pence was supposed to do?
He could have screamed about it to high heaven - (which would have done nothing) but he had no legal authority to take action on it.
If you are referring to his duties as President Of The Senate re: electoral vote count under the Constitution and the Electoral Vote Count Act - there is nothing in either that allowed him to take any action on those concerns.
If can find where he could legally act on any of those, please point me to it.
