That plastic bottle of water? Apparently it’s full of plastic. According to the organization Agir pour l’Environment (Acting for the Environment), 78% of bottled water from the best-selling brands in France is contaminated with microplastics.
A new study suggests most plastic water bottles in France are full of microplastics, which might have a detrimental effect on the environment and your health“Every week, we ingest an average of 5 grams, the equivalent of a credit card,” the NGO notes in its latest report. These microplastics then contaminate the water cycle, soil, food chain and even our own bodies. Microplastics are tiny, virtually invisible fragments of plastic between 0.0001 and 5 millimeters. Researchers found that “changes in the gastrointestinal tract from plastic are linked to metabolic diseases like obesity, diabetes and chronic liver disease.”

They didn’t check the size chart ,LOL
The pieces are all coagulating in the oceans and are killing off the seas in large rafts. They can be seen from space. Believe you now and hear me later.
I think plastic can be dissolved in water. We don’t see things dissolved in water.
If it’s in food, it might be mixed and surrounded by food and its color might not stand out.
I call BS on this.
Life will find a way. I’d be surprised if there isn’t various strains of bacteria that have learned how to chow down on this highly available source of food.
The plastics might act as endocrine disrupters and cause hormone issues.
Healthier than the jab? I’m thinking yes.

The scientists discovered the strain of bacteria, known as pseudomonas bacteria, at a dump site loaded with plastic waste
Ho hum, another day, another panic. If you live long enough, you’re bound to die of something.
I’v never trusted plastic bottles.
Not sure if canned foods are any better but they no longer do glass ones
Me either...I drink a lot of canned seltzer...holds up better in heat and delivery
Saves on embalming, huh!
All of that plastic in you increases your risk of spontaneous combustion, too.
Dozens of people spontaneously combust every year. It’s just not widely reported.
Yes, and if you are a princess you can feel a pea under 20 mattresses..
Just like all the bacteria consumed most of the oil from the BP blowout in the Gulf.
