I respect your reverence and humility.
To me, a capricious, inconsistent God doesn’t seem very ‘God-like’, any more than a vengeful one does; but more like a fallible human dictator.

If one believes God created all there is. That He put every star in the heavens and every grain of sand on earth, then one must believe that if the Bible was wrong or had an error in it, wouldn’t God have the power, the ability to fix it to the way He wants it?
