I hope she is successful as well....the incumbent has been there longer than dirt, which could work for or against him.
The thing with Natalie is that when she does something, she goes full throttle, puts her “all” into it. It suspect she’ll be pretty discouraged if she loses, but we’ll cross that bridge IF we come to it.

Day 2 covid (I tested + yesterday). Last night I felt a bit icky but took some Advil and then I slept just fine.
I feel better today so far. Had to make about eight trips with the water jug to water the garden which is the faucet is broken. So I must be better!
Hubby commented that it doesn’t seem like we had the same illness. Well. Yeah, I’ve been taking a combo of Frontline and Zelesky protocol!
For those who are goung to ask why I don’t offer him it, he just had an argument about how we are using the towels wrong in the kitchen. As usual, he couldn’t come up with a solution, just lots of yelling and blaming me. So I’m not bringing anything up about Covid again - I’ve been yelled at enough on that topic. He’s completely woke now, IMO, caused by working with liberals and dementia. I avoid talking to him unless it’s really important, house on fire important.

Charlie Crist, the Democrat candidate for Florida Governor, just announced that his running mate will be Karla Mats. Interestingly, her nickname has been “Karla Marx” due her public statement regarding Fidel Castro. It's a weird position to take in a location to which people came to escape the squalor and depravity of communist Cuba under Castro.
Her public praise of a communist dictator isn't all she has going for her. She's also the President of a teacher's union, the United Teachers of Dade, which covered up for and protected a serial sexual predator for more than a decade. It was such a huge deal that back in 2019, when the media was still occasionally publishing real journalism and not just partisan propaganda, the Miami Herald ran a piece about how it's possible for a teacher to face “four criminal sexual assault cases and allegations of sexual misconduct made by nine female students” in his 15 years of teaching, and still be a teacher. Thanks Jane. If I was younger, had family or a solid group of preppers right here and we weren’t having an economic collapse on the way, I’d have a better plan!
I wonder if the refinery fire will affect prices nationwide? When we lived in Corpus, problems from hurricanes affected us of course, but I can’t remember if it did when we were in CA.
