Of all the Black Women™ he could have chosen...

Harris is partly black, partly white, partly Asian, African-American, Indian-American, Irish-American, and/or Jamaican-American.

To amplify any black ancestry, however small, to "full blackness" is something white racists used to do (hence silly terms like "mulatto", "quadroon", and "octaroon"). But when white liberals do the same thing, that is considered an affirmation and celebration of diversity.

Half-black Obama was promoted to full blackness, yet some who are fully black on the other side of the political spectrum (like Clarance Thomas) are denied their blackness because of their views.

Liberals are nothing if not hypocrites.

It was telling that during her primary run for the Democratic nomination Harris received only a few delegates from American Samoa and failed to pick up any delegates in any other state including in her home state of California.
