"Italy is about to elect the single most rightwing government in the entire Western world." That is great. Hope it happens.
Which leaves the question. What was the most extreme right wing government to ever exist? (excluding monarchies and Socialists that are nationalist as that has always been a false narrative against us)
I believe the answer might be Lee Kuan Yew of Singapore. During the Joseph McCarthy in the US Singapore had the same problem with infiltration of communists throughout their system. In short Lee Kuan Yew LEGALLY locked up the leaders of the opposition party for criminal activities and banned them from participating in politics for the rest of his term. He was the prime minister of Singapore from 1959 to 1990.
During that time he was a benevolent party dictator (one party rule) which is contrary to the norm. They had no official free speech which is an extremist law in my opinion. Though during his time in office the country had the most free commerce (from red tape) in the world.
Here it is from the leftists perspective explaining some of what took place

Outside of the US, "right wing" doesn't mean Conservative Republicans. It's a rival form of socialism. The Nazis were "right wing".
