What can you tell us about galbanum?

I don’t know much about it, other than it is very similar to frankincense and they are related, boswellia is another name of frankincense. There are I think two types of frankincense but very similar to each other. The plant galbanum is made from and the plant from which frankincense is made are related; they are steam distilled and both are thick resins. Supposedly people take frankincense/boswellia internally for some conditions like arthritis, never heard of internal use of galbanum.

I use frankincense in aromatherapy.
