Adding it to my daily regimen definitely won’t hurt anything except my wallet. My British greensward (lawn) is dandelion free and if I see one it will die. Plantain weeds are another very beneficial weed. I slew them this year like the Romans conquering Carthage. Incredibly invasive.

If you do find some dandelions to grow, try making dandelion jelly. I know you can dry the roots to make a tea, but the jelly is made from the blossoms which are full of polyphenols, potassium, and could also be diuretic. It’s delicious, easy to make and is a great base for dressings and sauces. It’s fabulous drizzled on yogurt. This is a very old-fashioned thing. I have two batches in the cupboard.
