Poland's intelligence services say they have identified camps where thousands of Ukrainian children have been held and adults brutally beaten by invading Russian forces.
Special Services minster Stanislaw Zaryn said on Wednesday that over 1.5 million Ukrainians including 'thousands of children' were being held in various locations inside occupied territory where 'Ukrainians are sent en masse' and 'subjected to torture'.
Zaryn continued: 'The aggressors carry out a verification of the detained, looking for people with combat experience and officials of the Ukrainian administration.
'They also study the attitudes of specific people towards Russia.
'Those who do not raise any objections from the invaders are generally deported to Russia.
'Some of these people are forcibly conscripted into the Russian army and then sent to the front.
'People who raise doubts are brutally repressed. They are tortured, they are forced to testify or make statements against Ukraine, or they are brought to court as part of propaganda, show political trials.
'Russian FSB officers are responsible for the described actions against the civilian population, and they also ''interrogate'' the detained Ukrainians.
'The involvement of the most important Russian secret service in the repression against Ukrainians shows how much importance the Kremlin attaches to these actions.'
'The Russians check whether the detainees have traces of fights on their bodies, and even what tattoos they have.
'If someone arouses even a shadow of suspicion, he becomes the object of repression, which may result in death.
'A terrible fate awaits also those who, after 'positive verification', are ordered to fight in the ranks of the aggressor.'
'In regions where the Russians have not managed to adapt buildings taken over as a result of aggression, filtration sites are organized in the form of towns and tent camps.

I have great admiration and respect for Russia’s contributions to the arts. Russia has produced some exceptional writers and composers and musicians. As for science, Russia’s major contributions came from captured Nazi physicists and engineers. Hardly domestic. Then again, some of our top scientists fled Germany before the War (Einstein), or surrendered to US forces as Berlin fell (for instance, Werner von Braun). Robert Oppenheimer was American, born in New York (surprisingly, many people think he was German, and that we grabbed him before the end of the War).

Whatever the ‘Putin troll-supporters’ say about me doesn’t ultimately matter. Their behavior is only used to deflect the truth that I post. But actually, whatever recourse do they have? How else can they respond to evil but shut their eyes to ignore the truth set before them?

There actually is no way to refute the evil truth of Russian military criminal atrocities to the Ukrainian people.
It takes courage to look evil in the face. I actually feel sorry for these Putin supporters that were led to believe and trust in this evil man. I can truly understand their dilemma with uncomfortable position in which they must find themselves.
How else can they respond except to attack the messenger?
However, I will not stop posting in fear that my feelings may become hurt. Nor, am I dissuaded by their attempts to have me stop posting. These Freepers do reveal themselves by their own posts better than I. Most observers will learn to ignore and reject their outbursts as well.
Let those with ‘well-intentioned’ but erroneous ideology

When it was clear Germany would fall, several German generals sought to position themselves and their commands where they could surrender to the Americans or the Brits (though they preferred the Americans). NOT ONE wanted to surrender to the Russians.
