It is my understanding that in addition to the strikes on the road bridge, there were strikes on the rail bridge. This will significantly impact the pace of logistical supply to that region.

During WWII, the Allies hit German and Europe’s rail network innumerable times. It was usually repaired very quickly. Whether Russia can achieve the same speed remains to be seen but taking out a rail BRIDGE is far more devastating than just rails on the ground. The steel/concrete structure must be repaired which takes far longer and usually is not possible quick enough to affect the outcome.
