The GOP establishment isn’t stupid. There is no downside to letting Desantis run with these issues that will play well with the GOP base right now.

To me, Trump’s greatest appeal was that he didn’t need the damn job but pursued it anyway. DeSantis is a career political hack who has never worked outside government.

Insulting DeSantis is childish since he has been the best governor. Seems you are a disruptor that doesn’t want an effective Republican running.
