Now the once-vaunted AMA is insisting people should take the COVID clot shot, the CDC is a Clown Dimmocommie Corp, and now the The Association of American Medical Colleges just released its official Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion (DEI) Competencies curriculum. As Lawrence Krauss describes in his article, for graduating medical students, the competencies include being able to describe the impact of various systems of oppression on health and health care (e.g., colonization, White supremacy, acculturation, assimilation).” for graduating residents, they include “promoting social justice and engaging in efforts to eliminate health care disparities,” and for faculty physicians, “teaching how systems of power, privilege, and oppression inform policies and practices and how to engage with systems to disrupt oppressive practices.” In other words, utterly time-wasting commie nonsense. What are we going to do when our current non-woke doctors retire and we have to rely on these brainwashed youngsters?
Had shingles too. No Vax. It was during a particularly exhausting period of work where 60 - 70 hours per week was common, with some of that being 30 straight hours. The work wasn’t rote, it took thinking and action. Stress tore me down after years of dealing with it without consequence. I am not superman after all - shocked me.
Now I have tingling that never goes away - nerve damage. I’ve throttled back as much as I can, but am now falling behind in just about every aspect of my job. I’m so unused to this. In haven’t asked my doctor if a post- shingles vax would help, but if it does, I should probably get one. Another bought of shingles would be tough to work through.

My 27 year old son is recovering from a rough case of shingles. Luckily, it wasn’t on his head like yours. I’ve never had chicken pox, so I have avoided contact with him.
Everybody in my age group had the pox in elementary school.
